Friday Football: Little Cyclones Seek Sixth Straight Win Over Ankeny Hawks

The Ames Little Cyclones Varsity Football Team could have a 6-0 record after Friday's game.

Ames High Little Cyclones are 6-0 after a win over the Ankeny High School Hawks on Friday. The final score was 48-18.

Ames High School could see their sixth straight win in a game against the Ankeny Hawks in Ankeny 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The Little Cyclones have won all of the last five football games putting them at 5-0 for the season.

The team's latest victory was against the Fort Dodge Dodgers in the Homecoming game last week. The final score was 62-21.

The Little Cyclones have a pretty good chance of bumping their record to 6-0 at Ankeny's stadium behind Northview Middle School. The Little Cyclones already beat the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars earlier this year. And the Jaguars took out Ankeny High School Hawks 17-7 in the high schools' first historic meeting.

The Hawks are 1-4 after a loss to the Johnston Dragons last week.
