No Forced Entry in Iowa Hawkeyes Locker Room Theft
Iowa State Athletics will reimburse the Hawkeyes who were robbed during the Cy-Hawk game if the thief is not found.
Police are releasing few details about a theft reported by Iowa Hawkeyes after the Cy-Hawk win on Saturday, but it appears that the thief had access to the locker room.
Nine Iowa Hawkeye players and coaches reported the theft of their cellphones and cash just before 9 p.m. Saturday. They noticed the items were missing from the locker room in the Olsen Building following the 27-21 win.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry and private security guarded the locker room so no one without credentials should have been allowed inside, according to a report in the USA Today.
The Iowa State University Athletics department plans to reimburse the players if the culprit cannot be found, the Tribune reported.

In addition to cell phones, a total of about $50 was taken, according to a report in theΒ Ames Tribune.
