100 Plus Arrested During Iowa-Iowa State Game Weekend
Ames area police and sheriff deputies arrested more than 100 people on Cy-Hawk weekend.
Ames and Iowa State University police and the Story County Sheriff's office arrested more than 100 people during and after the Iowa-Iowa State football game Saturday and early Sunday, according to a report in the Des Moines Register.
Most of the arrests were alcohol related, but authorities said that they couldn't be sure that the arrests were tied to the game in which the Iowa Hawkeyes beat the Iowa State Cyclones 27-21.
None of the arrests were related to the locker room theft that left nine Iowa Hawkeyes players and coaches without their cellphones and cash.
