Eileen Rosenberg, age 67, of Ames, Iowa died June 4, 2013. A 10:30 a.m. graveside service will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery June 6, 2013.
Eileen was born June 10, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Louis and Mollie Ewig. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School and graduated in 1963. She took courses at the Brooklyn College then moved to Champaign, Illinois. In 1971, she relocated to Chicago and then again to Ames, Iowa in 1979. She was a homemaker, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and the Ames Jewish Congregation. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and meal times. She was a loving moving, very good daughter, and wonderful person.
She is survived by her son, Evan (Patricia) Rosenberg of Chicago, Illinois; her parents Louis and Mollie Ewig of Florida, and sister, Audrey Weiner of New Jersey. Read More.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ames Municipal Cemetery, 310 E. 9th, Ames, Iowa.
