Just hit the road for Ames to meet up with my Ragbrai team - Team Cockroach. They've been around for 25 years or so. We'll take a bus out to Council Bluffs later today.
Here's my ride - a Schwinn Peloton. It's an oldie but goody. I inherited it from my father-in-law about 10 years ago. He surprised me with a tune up and shiny new handlebar tape.
It's a steel frame and a smooth ride, even if a little heavier than some the carbon frame bikes.
