Reiman Gardens in Ames Participates in National Public Gardens Day

Free admission to area gardens for Fourth Annual National Public Gardens Day.

Reiman Gardens is one of five in central Iowa that will participate in National Public Gardens Day Friday. Patrons will be admitted free, receive free seed packets and be able to participate in free educational programs at all participating gardens. The only catch is that people need to download a free voucher from Better Homes & Gardens at BHG.com. At Reiman Gardens, visitors will be able to view the “Nature Connects” Lego sculpture exhibit and the garden will offer guided tours on the hour throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Those who manage to visit all five gardens should have a complete seed collection.
