Which Ames Pub Made the List of America's Best Sports Bars?
An Iowa bar came in a list of the 101 best sports bars in the U.S.
The Wallaby's Bar and Grille in Ames was the only Iowa establishment to make the list of 101 best sports bars in the United States. The list was published here on CNN GO. Here is what they had to say about Wallaby's: There may not be much room left on the walls of this Iowa State University outpost, but there is room for every major sports package on the bar’s 34 televisions, including those at many of the tables. The food is as homespun as the atmosphere. All right, now the fun part. Which Iowa establishments were robbed by not making the list? Here is one vote for Airliner in Iowa City.
