It looks like Iowa State Women's Basketball Coach Bill Fennelly will have to add another NCAA Tournament loss to the Georgia Bulldogs to his memory.

The Bulldogs won 65-60 Monday and will advance to the quarter finals. Iowa State Senior Anna Prins a center led scoring with 23 points. The Bulldogs had an 8-point lead in the second half and the Cyclones were able to catch up but Georgia scored more points in the final minutes. See a full recap.

Cyclone Women's Basketball Coach Bill Fennelly said the women's 72-60 win against the 12-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday was the biggest win he's celebrated in a long time. It was the first time their opponent lost a home game in an NCAA tournament.

Could a win against the No. 4 seeded Georgia Bulldog's be even bigger?

It will give Fennelly another match up against Bulldog Coach Andy Landers.

The Cyclone women lost to the Georgia Bulldogs in the NCAA Tournament in 1999 and though it was 14 years ago, both coaches say they remember it quite well.

Fennelly told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that he thinks about the loss all the time because it was one of the two times the Cyclone women made it to the regional finals.

“There are a lot of games and I think that's what makes coaching so great and what drives people crazy is you can't let it go," Fennelly said.

Landers remembers it because 1999 was the last time the lady Bulldogs made it to the Final Four.

"It made it just really difficult for them defensively, and I remember it because I was so concerned going in about it," Landers told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "They did such a good job with that zone, and ... Kelly (Miller) pretty much punched our ticket to the Final Four that night."

The winner of tonight's game will advance to the Sweet 16.
