Iowa State Loses to Iowa

Iowa Hawkeyes were finally able to take the CyHawk trophy to Iowa City.

The Iowa Hawkeyes have to win sometimes and they did Saturday after losing to the Iowa State Cyclones two years in a row.

The final score was 27-21. The Iowa State Cyclones are now 0-2.

SB nation said both teams exhibited sloppy skills.

The Cyclones didn't score a touchdown until the third quarter.

Black Heart Gold Pants said the Hawkeyes win was the first against a real team since they played Michigan State last year.

The Cyclones will take a week off before facing Tulsa on Sept. 26.
