ISU Studies Link Between Exercise and Flu
Exercising after taking a flu shot could boost immunity, studies show.
Could exercising before or after a flu shot give you an added shot in the arm?
That's what Iowa State University researchers are trying to determine Marian Kohut, an ISU professor of kinesiology, told Radio Iowa.
In recent studies, researches found that college students who had received a flu shot and exercised had an increased number of antibodies compared to those who did not.

Researchers said they are still studying to see if its better to exercise before or after the shot and if the same results would be found in non-college student populations.
Results are inconclusive, but exercising around of the time you take a flu shot can't hurt.
