Iowa State President Steven Leath Adds Faculty

Leath is close to adding 200 more faculty positions at the University.

Iowa State University President Steven Leath said he has hired 140 of the 200 new faculty he hoped to add by 2014, according to a report in the Iowa State Daily.

Leath wanted to add the new faculty positions to keep up with the growing student body, according to a report in the Des Moines Register.

This fall, Iowa State's enrollment grew to 33,241 --- the largest in the school's history, according to a report from ISU News.
