Steve King and Protesters Greet Story County Republicans Tonight

King is the keynote speaker for the annual Judge Joseph Story Annual Dinner.

Story County Republicans will be greeted by special guests at tonight's Judge Joseph Story Annual held 6:30 p.m. at .

Iowa Congressman Steve King, R-King, is the keynote speaker for the ticketed event and CREDO protesters will be there too.

In a release sent today, CREDO, which set up a Take Down King in Ames, said dozens of Iowa voters and CREDO SuperPAC volunteers will protest outside the fundraiser starting at 6 p.m.

β€œThe protesters take issue with Rep. King's Tea Party extremism and his controversial comments that continue to embarrass and insult Iowans,” the release said.

Doors to the event open at 5:30 p.m.
