Deadlines to Serve on Ames City Boards Extended

Ames residents have until Feb. 17 to apply to serve on a city board.

The deadline to apply for a City of Ames board or commission has been extended to 5 p.m. Feb. 17.

Several vacancies are available beginning in April. Boards and commissions make recommendations to the Ames City Council and also offer assistance to the Council in carrying out various forms and functions of city government.
