City Offers Rental Assistance
The City will reinstate its rental deposit assistance program.
PRESS RELEASE
The City of Ames will be implementing a Rental Deposit Assistance Program as part of the 2012-2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs.
The program is designed to help eligible low-income households with up to $1,200 toward rental deposits and/or first month’s rent.
Applications will be available for pick-up at Ames City Hall, 515 Clark Ave., Conference Room 233, between 2 to 4 p.m. on the following Thursdays only: March 7, 14, 21, 28, and April 4.

Applications will be processed through June 30 or until funding is depleted.
