Obituary: Laconia Vanessa Selby
Laconia Vanessa Selby died May 11, 2013. Her services are set for Sunday.
Laconia Vanessa (Myles) Selby, 44, born on June 3, 1968 to Glenda Darnell Myles and Gary O'Neal Laudry, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home in Ames on May 11, 2013.
She is survived by her mother, the father of her children, Robert James Selby, her three children; Christina Darnell Selby, Kyle Isiah Selby, and Aaliyah Sierra Selby, one brother, Laron Christopher Myles, one sister, Layvonne Vanessa Myles and one sister-in-law, Gwendolyn King Myles. She is also survived by two nieces; Lakeisha Beatrice and Sidney Nicole Myles, two uncles; Aaron Douglas and Robert Byron Hendrix.
Her visitation is set from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 19 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, and a service is set for 11:30 a.m. Sunday May 19.
