Amnesty International meeting

The local chapter of Amnesty International will meet Saturday,
April 26, 1:30-3:30pm, at Capanna Coffee and Gelato, 3329 Lincoln Way in Ames. AI is an international human rights
organization with worldwide membership. We write
letters, make phone calls, tweet, connect on the internet, and speak out in
defense of prisoners of conscience, human rights defenders, and
individuals and communities at risk. Enjoy the coffee and gelato while you
work! Bring a laptop if you have one. Discussion is always lively. No dues.
