What's Ames Watching?

Twilight and nine other movies were among the top 10 movies rented at Ames Redboxes in the last week.

It's Friday and while there are plenty of things to do here in Ames on weekend evenings it's OK if you'd rather stay home and watch a movie. 1. “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” - In the fourth installment of The Twilight Saga, a marriage, honeymoon and the birth of a child bring unforeseen and shocking developments for Bella and Edward and those they love, including new complications with young werewolf Jacob Black. Trailer.

Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing match to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

10 “Abduction” While looking at a website with pictures of missing or abducted children, teenager Nathan realizes that he is one of the subjects. After doing some research, Nathan begins to believe that the people who have been raising him are not his parents. As he digs deeper into the conspiracy, he finds himself in danger and has to run for his life.
