'The Daily Show' Writer Kevin Bleyer Speaks at Iowa State

Bleyer, an Emmy-winning writer, will speak Sept. 26.

Kevin Bleyer, the multiple Emmy-winning writer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", will share his witty insights in "Me the People: One Man's Quest to Rewrite the Constitution" 8 p.m. Thursday Sept. 26 in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

In addition to the Daily Show, Bleyer has also contributed to President Barack Obama's White House Correspondent's Dinner speeches, he is co-author of The New York Times bestseller, "Earth: The Book," and he has written for "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher" and "Dennis Miller."

Bleyer's presentation at Iowa State University is co-sponsored by the First Amendment Day Series, National Affairs and the Committee on Lectures, which is funded by the Government of the Student Body.
