There are no less than seven film versions of A Christmas Carol. Which do you wait all year for, Scrooged with Bill Murray or the 1951 version with Alastair Sim?
Does your family remind you of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, complete with a squirrel in the tree?
Do you spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear like Buddy in Elf?
Would you rather watch the original Miracle on 34th Street with Edmund Gwenn or the 1994 version with Elizabeth Perkins?
Do you prefer youthful movies such as Home Alone or The Muppet Christmas Carol?
Or perhaps you'd like to find a new holiday favorite. “The Darkest Hour” opens Christmas Day but judging by the name, it just doesn't seem too bright or cheery and you won't find it in Ames. “The Adventures of Tintin” is a 3-D and an adventure as the title suggests. It opened Wednesday. There's also “A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas” and “Arthur Christmas 3D”
