Enemy Planes and More in Maximum Ames Music Festival 2013 Lineup

The third annual MAMF has announced a second wave of artists who will play in Ames in September.

Jason Anderson, Enemy Planes, Shook Twins, Dubb Nubb, and the Land of Blood and Sunshine are among the artists who will play in the third annual Maximum Ames Music Festival.

Festival organizers announced Monday, the second wave of artists who will be featured in this year's festival from Sept. 26 to Sept. 29.

The Zombies known for classic rock hits such as “Time of the Season” and “She’s Not There” will headline this year's festival, which was announced in July.

The third annual Maximum Ames Music Festival (MAMF) will feature more than 130 bands. Other highlights of Maximum Ames Music Festival 2013 include Greg Brown, Bo Ramsey, The Meat Puppets, Murder by Death and The Hood Internet.

MAMF organizers said Brown a Grammy nominated recording artist from Iowa is a Godfather of Iowa Music.

MAMF passes will be available for $100 through MidwesTix.com and at maximumames.com.
