Patch Pet Of The Week
UPDATE: Jake has been adopted. Each week Patch will feature a pet in need of a good home, courtesy of the Ames Animal Shelter.
Meet Jake a 6-year-old coonhound put up for adoption by his owner. Jake has a thyroid disorder requiring medication. He also has a lick granulomas on front leg and foot. Both conditions are very manageable and will require approximate $50 every 3 months for treatments and possible re-checks. Jake needs an owner who can take regular walks and take him for occasional car rides. He is good with kids and other animals. Jake is mellow, sweet, and a great house dog.
