Iowa Drupal Training Camp Now Registering in Ames

DrupalCorn, a two day training camp, will take place at Iowa State University Aug. 3 and Aug. 4.

Co-Chairs of a local Drupal users group plan to lead a second annual conference to share information on Drupal, a popular open source platform that powers websites, applications and more.

The two-day conference, DrupalCorn, takes place in August at Iowa State University’s Memorial Union and and it costs just $20.

Organizer Michael Hofmockel said participants would get their registration fee back in free lunch alone.

Hofmockel said there are many open-source content-management platforms such as Word Press and Joomla but that Drupal is especially in demand of developers, which is why they are offering the conference.

About 200 people are expected to participate.
