According to a list compiled by NerdWallet, a consumer advocacy site, Ames is ranked no. 2 out of 20 cities for having the best work-life balance among its residents.
Iowa City was the only other town that made the list, coming in at no. 13.
Corvallis, Ore., made the top of the list.
