Celebrate the Ames global community at World Friendship Day 2012. All ages are invited to this informal evening of cross-cultural presentations and entertainment by youth and adults. Enjoy displays featuring Brazil, Germany, Mexico, and the Czech Republic and tasty treats from around the globe.

The Library moved to 620 Lincoln Way and expects to remain there through 2013 while the Douglas location undergoes renovations.
Ames Public Library offers books, reference materials, meeting spaces and a number of educational programs. It also has free WiFi.
