Always been interested in the paranormal? Do you love watching Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures and other paranormal shows? Always wanted to tag along on an investigation but didn't know how? Here's your chance!
The Midwest Paranormal Investigation Society (MPIS) based out of West Des Moines is hosting an event where interested individuals can tag along with a group of trained investigators.
On Saturday, June 23, you can join MPIS at the Squirrel Cage Jail in Council Bluffs. The jail served as the Pottawattamie County Jail from 1885 until 1969. For $40, you get a tour, a meal, and an unforgettable experience investigating all night with trained investigators with their paranormal equipment in one of the most unique haunted locations in the Midwest!
Do you have what it takes to make it though the night in the largest revolving "squirrel cage jail" ever built? There's only one way to find out. "Like" MPIS on facebook to find out more about the group and contact them if you're interested in attending. Space is limited!

I grew up in a haunted house in rural upstate New York, so I believe in paranormal phenomena even though I'd be unlikely to if I hadn't seen and heard inexplicable things with my eyes and ears. There was at least one adult male with a deep voice and heavy tread on the attic stairs and the front spiral stairs. There was a slender woman who walked down the back hallway in a long gown and closed my mother's bedroom door on her arm, which was transparent. There were children, too, who appeared, played pranks, and scared us half to death. As I said, seeing and hearing is believing.
