A performance by The Boss, wasn't the end of Obama's CampusTakeover in Ames. Seth MacFarlane of “The Family Guy” will visit Iowa State University campus Saturday.

MacFarlane is best known for The Family Guy cartoon and is also co-creator of “American Dad.” MacFarlane voices Family Guy's main characters – Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin and Glenn Quagmire as well as additional characters.

He will appear at the Union about 6 p.m. Saturday.

According to a release from the Obama campaign, MacFarlane plans to push for early voting and discuss issues that affect young voters including college affordability, health care, equal rights and job creation.

If Romney is elected and his budget is approved, 221,000 Iowa students would lose scholarship funding and 78,000 Iowans would lose their college tuition deduction, according to the campaign. Politifact.com said Romney would allow the American Opportunity Tax Credit to expire if he is elected in November and that Ryan's budget plan would cut pell grant funding.
