A T.J. Maxx store could land in Ames next fall, a representative for the company said today.

The discount fashion chain said it expects to open a new store in Ames, but T.J. Maxx media relations supervisor Carrie Garfield, said she couldn't provide any other details.

An e-mail posted by Ames News Online, suggested that both a T.J. Maxx and a Kohl's may be coming to Ames. 

T.J. Maxx stores offer designer and brand name fashions for up to 60 percent off department store prices, according to the store's website.
