Pawlenty's Tent, Stage and Barbecue May Be the Biggest Straw Poll Display
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty takes the southeast corner of Straw Poll grounds.
If you want to find former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty at the Iowa Straw Poll, just look for Famous Dave's.
His open air pole tent is right behind the red sign for the barbecue chain.
Pawlenty's setup includes a 170- by 60-foot tent, a stage and a large barbecue sign.
The long, open tent is just 200 square feet larger than Michelle Bachmann's 10,000 square-foot air-conditioned setup. So Pawlenty's tent might just be the single largest tent on the grounds.
Check AmesPatch for a rundown on all the venues being set up by GOP candidates.

He's busing BBQ in from Minnesota? Iowa doesn't have BBQ?

Really you have to lure people in with barbecue. Guess you really did get whooped in the debate last night if you had to go that far out of your way. Just like you had your wife introduce you today at the fair for your speech. Why didn't you just get Bruce buffer to introduce you. Ron Paul will treat your ass in the straw poll.

Ron Paul....oh, yeah. He's the crazy old coot living in someone's attic that emerges every four years to rant and rave about gold and God knows what else. Yep...he'll be a real force in American politics. At least, in his fevered imagination.
