The Lacrosse Tribune reported this week that former ISU Cyclone Basketball Guard Scott Christopherson took part in an official workout for the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves.
Christopherson said he hopes to be one of the 60 players to be chosen in the NBA draft, which takes place June 28. He was a fifth-year senior this year. Christopherson said he knows that he won't make the first round, but he's still hopeful.
Neither Christopherson nor Royce White, an ISU sophomore who decided to leave school early and try for the NBA are on the latest NBA.com mock draft of the top 30 players. But Ames High School grad Harrison Barnes is at No. 6.
