1) Meet Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney, leaders in many polls for the Republican presidential nomination, will hold a grassroots rally at 5:30 p.m. at Kinzler Construction, 2335 230th St. in Ames.
2) ISU Women's Basketball at Hilton Coliseum

3) Story time
A family story time with a craft takes place at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Ames Public Library. The program is for families with children of all ages. It takes place in the Farwell T. Brown Auditorium.
4) Gardens open late
Reiman Gardens is open until 8 tonight and admission is free from 4 to 8 p.m. The garden will accept donations for Youth & Shelter Services' Holiday Giving program. The holiday program “Snug as a Bug” will be on display.
5) Freakishly Warm Weather
